Welcome to Yarnhouse Studio!

Hi!  I’m Cary, the owner of Yarnhouse Studio.  I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to meeting you (if I haven’t already)!  Truly, working with people is the thing that makes having a store so awesome.  I love talking to people, getting to know them, and sharing what we each know and bring to our creative processes!  This is why I’m opening Yarnhouse Studio.  I moved here to central Alabama after living near Austin, Texas for six years.  I worked at The Old Oaks Ranch Fiber Arts Center, and I LOVED being a part of such a vibrant and active creative community.  When I moved here, I missed that.  And soon I knew that I wanted to help create a space in which people can gather and learn and share about fiber arts.  So, here comes Yarnhouse Studio!
